Rib Stitch Scarf

Abbreviation:

-          K= Knit
-          P= Purl
-          K2tog= Knit 2 together
-          Sts= Stitches
-          YO= Yarn Over

Materials:
-          US #11 Needles
-          Super Chunky yarn
-          3 Buttons Medium size

Instructions:

Cast on 34 stitches (Multiples of 2).
Row 1: *K2, P2*, repeat from *to*
Row 2: *P2, K2*, repeat from *to*

Work row 1 and 2 for 1 ½”

Then, k 5 sts, YO, k 12 sts, YO, K 12 sts, YO, k 5 sts. When I say k # sts, please keep knitting 2x2 Rib stitch.

Then K 5, *Purl the YO, K2tog*. Keep working the pattern and repeat from *to* for the remaining 2 YOs.

Continue the 2x2 Rib Stitch until you have 27”.

Materials:
-Yarn: Medium (#4) for the hat and Chunky (#6) for the pom pom
-Needles: US#8 & US#10 (Double Pointing)
-Stich marker
-Tapestry needle.
-Pom pom maker (Optional)

Stitches Used for this hat:
-Rib Stitch (k1, P1)
-Seed Stitch (Knit the purls and purl the knits)
Abbreviations:
K= Knit
P= Purl
Sts= Stitches
P2tog= Purl 2 together
K2tog= Knit 2 together


Start:
Cast on 72 sts with needle US#8
Work the Rib Stitch for 1’’

Body Section:
Row1: Change to US #10 needle and work the seed stitch
Row2: P2tog, Continue with the seed stitch until you have reached 61/2” in total.

Decreasing Section:
Row1: *K6, P2tog*, repeat from *to* until the end of the row, end with P1
Row2: Knit the seed stitch
Row3: *K5, P2tog*, repeat from *to* until the end of the row.
Row4: Repeat row 2
Row5: *K4, P2tog*, repeat from *to* until the end of the row, end with a P2tog.
Row6: Repeat row 2
Row7: Knit 3, P2tog, k3, P2tog, *k3, K2tog*, repeat from *to* until the end of the row
Row8: *P2tog, k2tog*, repeat from *to* until the end of the row.

Cut the yarn leaving a long tail and threat your tapestry needle with it. Use the needle to place all the stitches left on the thread and then pull the threat to close the hole.
Create a pom pom and place it at the top of the hat.

Abbreviations:

Sts= Stitches
K= Knit
P=Purl

K2tog= Knit 2 stitches together

Materials:

-Super Bulky Yarn (#6)

-Stitch marker

-2 circular needles US# 10 ½ & US#17

-1 Tapestry needle

Start:
Cast on 42 sts with US# 10 ½ needle.

Work the Rib Stitch until you have 1 ½ inches.

Change to biggest size needles.

Work the Stockinette Stitch until you have 7 ½ inches in total.

Decreasing Section:

-*K2, k2tog*, repeat from *to* finish with k2.

-Knit next row

-*K1, k2tog*, repeat from *to* finish with k1.

-Knit next row

-K2tog all row

-K2tog all row, finish with k1

 Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail and thread your tapestry needle with it. Pass the yarn through all the stitches left, remove the knitting needles and pull the yarn to close the hole.

Create a pom-pom and attach it to the top of the hat.

Triangle Scarf Pattern

This pattern consists mainly of two rows (2 and 3), you will increase on every other row.
Material:
-          200 gr (440 yds./400 meters) of 100% Undyed Baby Alpaca.
-          US #7 Needles
-          One stitch marker
Abbreviations:
K= knit
P= Purl
Sts= stitch/es
Kfb: knit front and back.
Pfb: purl front and back

Bubble Stitch:
Knit the stitch front and back twice and knit it one las time. Now you will have 5 stitches on the right needle, turn your work and purl all 5 sts, turn your work again and knit all 5 sts, then cast off 4 sts.

Cast on 10 stitches.
Set up Row (WS): k2, p3, place marker for center, p3, k2.
Row 1 (RS; Inc): k2, kfb twice, k1, slip marker, kfb twice, k3 (4 increased)
Row 2 (WS): k2, purl to last 2 sts, slipping center marker, k2.
Row 3 (Inc): k2, kfb, knit to 2 sts before the marker, kfb, k1, slip marker, kfb, kint to 4 sts before end, kfb, k3.
Row 4: Repeat row 2.
Repeat: rows 3 and 4, for a total of 22 rows
Next row: Repeat row 3
Texture rows: Staring on the wrong side, knit across the entire row. Following row, p2, pfb, purl to 2sts before the marker, pfb,p1, slip marker, pfb, purl to 2sts before the end, pfb, p3.
Repeat: row 2
Repeat: rows 3 and 4, for a total of 16 rows.
Next row: Repeat row 3
Repeat: Texture rows

Repeat: rows 3 and 4, for a total of 8 rows.
Bubble Row (RS): Count the amount of stitches on the first half of the scarf (do not include first 2 and the one before the marker) and divide by 4. If you have 60 (60/4=15).Then K2, kfb, *k14, make a bubble, k15, make a bubble, k15, make a bubble, k13, kfb*, k1, slip marker, kfb, repeat from *to*, k3.
Repeat: rows 3 and 4, for a total of 8 rows. }
Repeat: Texture rows
Repeat: row 2
Repeat: rows 3 and 4, for a total of 21 rows.
Next row: Repeat row 3
Repeat: Texture rows
Repeat: Bracket section. Then repeat row 2.

Border Garter Stitch (WS)
First row: Knit across
Second row: Repeat row 3.
Repeat rows first and second for a total of 15 rows.


Cast off.

Materials:
-US# 10 1/2 (6.5mm)
-US# 15 (10mm)
-1 stitch markers
-2 balls Super Bulky #6 yarn of your favorite color
-1 tapestry needle

Instructions:
-Cast on 44 stitches with US# 10 ½ needle, using the main color.
-Place marker and knit 1x1 rib stitch until you have 1 ½” for the band of the hat.
-Change to the US# 15 needles and knit 1 row while increasing 1 stitch every 4 stitches. End with one increase, now you should have 55 stitches in total.
-Knit one row

Add Color:
-*K4 with main color, k1 with second color*, repeat from *to* until the end of row.
(Tip: Do not squeeze your stitches from right head when knitting with second color, you need space to carry the color on the back of the project. Otherwise when you put your hat on the stitches will look stretched)

-Knit 4 rows.

-K1 with main color, k1 with second color, *k4 with main color, k1 second color*, repeat from *to* until the end of row, end with k3.

-Knit 4 rows

-K3 main color, k1 second color, *k4 main color, k1 second color*, repeat from *to* until the end of row, end with k1.

-Knit 4 rows

-K1 second color, k4 main color, *k1 second color, k4 main color*, repeat from *to* until the end of row, end with k4.

-Knit 1 row



Decreasing section:
-Main color K4, k2tog, *k4, k2tog*, repeat from *to* until the end of row, end with k1

-Knit 1 row main color.

-Main color K4, k2tog, *k4, k2tog* repeat from *to* until the end of row, end with k1

-(add color) K2 main color, k1 second color, *k2 main color, k1 second color, k3 main color, k1 second color*, repeat until the end of row, end with k1. Cut the second color leaving a long tail, you don’t have to use it anymore.

-Knit 1 row main color.

-Main color *K2tog, k1*, repeat from *to* until the end of row.

- Main color *K2tog, k1*, repeat from *to* until the end of row.

-Main color k2tog until the end of row.

-Cut the main color leaving a tail, thread your tapestry needle with that piece of yarn and go through all the stitches (starting on the stich next to the one you finish). Once you have all the stitches on the piece of yarn pull hard to close the opening at the top of the hat.

Final Touch:

Needles: size 3.5 mm / US 4 Circular and double pointing

              size 4.5 mm / US 7 Circular and double pointing

Yarn: Medium #4


SWEATER WORKED IN STOCKINETTE STITCH, TOP .


RAGLAN TIP:
Inc 1 st after/before marker as follows:
After marker: k 1, 1 YO (= 1 st inc).
Before marker: Beg 1 st before marker, 1 YO (= 1 st inc), k 1.
Inc 2 st after/before marker as follows:
After marker: k 1, 1 YO (= 1 st inc), k 2 in next st (= 1 st inc)
Before marker: Beg 2 st before marker, k 2 in next st (= 1 st inc), 1 YO, (= 1 st inc), k 1.
When inc every 4th row, still work holes on every other round but work holes without inc (K YOs through the back loop to avoid holes), i.e. work as follows:
After marker: k 1, 1 YO, slip 1 st as if to k, k 1, psso
Before marker: Beg 3 st before marker, k 2 tog, 1 YO, k 1.

INCREASE IN THE SIDE OF THE BODY:
Beg 1 sts before marker, 1 YO, K 2 (marker is in the middle of these 2 sts), 1 YO (= 2 sts inc). On next round K YOs through the back loop to avoid holes.

DECREASE SLEEVES:
Dec mid under sleeve as follows: Beg 3 sts before marker and K 2 tog, K 2 (marker is between these 2 sts), slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso (= 2 sts dec).

Cast on 104-108-112-118-122-128 sts on circular needle size 3.5 mm / US 4. Work seed stitch for 5 rows.

Switch to circular needle size 4.5 mm / US 7 and knit 1 round while inc 20-20-24-22-22-24 sts evenly = 124-128-136-140-144-152 sts. On next round knit and insert 4 markers in the piece as follows: work 25-26-28-27-28-30 insert marker (= half of back piece), work the next 12-12-12-16-16-16 sts, insert next marker (= sleeve), work 50-52-56-54-56-60 sts (= front piece) insert next marker, work 12-12-12-16-16-16 sts (= sleeve), work the remaining 25-26-28-27-28-30 insert marker (= half of back piece).

RAGLAN BODY INCREASE: Inc 1 st after/before marker every other round 8-12-12-23-28-32 times in total, then inc 1 st after/before marker every 4th round 7-6-7-2-1-0 times in total.


RAGLAN SLEEVES INCREASE: Inc 2 sts after/before marker every other round 2-4-5-4-2-1 times in total. Then inc 1 st after/before marker every other round 16-16-17-19-24-27 times in total and 1 st after/before marker every 4th round 2 times in total in all sizes.

After all inc are done there are 272-304-328-356-380-404 sts on needle. Piece measures approx. 22-24-25-27-29-31 cm / 8 3/4"-9½"-9 3/4"-10½"-11½"-12 1/4" from shoulder (19-21-22-23-25-27 cm / 7½"-8 1/4"-8 3/4"-9"-9 3/4"-10½" from cast-on edge).

NOW WORK AS FOLLOWS:

Work the first 40-44-47-52-57-62 sts (Half back piece), slip the next 56-64-70-74-76-78 sts on a stitch holder (= sleeve), work the next 80-88-94-104-114-124 sts (= front piece), slip the next 56-64-70-74-76-78 sts on a stitch holder (= sleeve), Work the last 40-44-47-52-57-62 sts (Half back piece). NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE!

BODY:
= 176-192-208-228-252-276 sts. Work in stockinette st in the round. When piece measures 2 cm / 3/4'' in all sizes, inc in each side - READ INCREASE TIP (= 4 sts inc). Repeat inc every 2½-2½-3-3-3-3½ cm / 7/8"-7/8"-1 1/8"-1 1/8"-1 1/8"-1 1/4'' a total of 7 times in all sizes = 204-220-236-256-280-304 sts. Switch to needle size 3.5 mm / US 4, work seed stitch for 5 rows.




SLEEVES:
Worked in the round with circular needle/ double pointed needles size 4.5 mm / US 7

Find the middle of the underarm, pick-up 4 sts from the middle to the left. Then slip sts from stitch holder to the needle, at the end pick-up the last 4 sts (place a marker). Continue with stockinette stitch. NOW MEASURE PIECE FROM HERE.

 When piece measures 2 cm / 3/4'', dec 1 st on each side of marker - READ DECREASE TIP. Repeat dec every 2½-2-1½-1½-1½-1 cm / 7/8"-3/4"-½"-½"-½"-3/8" 13-16-19-20-21-22 times in total = 38-40-42-44-46-48 sts. When piece measures 39-38-37-36-35-33 cm / 15 1/4"-15"-14½"-14 1/4"-13 3/4"-13" switch to needle size 3.5 mm / US 4, work seed stitch for 5 rows.

 Work the other sleeve the same way.
