This pattern consists mainly of two rows (2 and 3), you will
increase on every other row.
Material:

200 gr (440 yds./400 meters) of 100% Undyed Baby
Alpaca.

US #7 Needles

One stitch marker
Abbreviations:
K= knit
P= Purl
Sts= stitch/es
Kfb: knit front and back.
Pfb: purl front and back
Bubble Stitch:
Knit the stitch front and back twice and knit it one las
time. Now you will have 5 stitches on the right needle, turn your work and purl
all 5 sts, turn your work again and knit all 5 sts, then cast off 4 sts.
Cast on 10 stitches.
Set up Row (WS):
k2, p3, place marker for center, p3, k2.
Row 1 (RS; Inc):
k2, kfb twice, k1, slip marker, kfb twice, k3 (4 increased)
Row 2 (WS): k2,
purl to last 2 sts, slipping center marker, k2.
Row 3 (Inc): k2,
kfb, knit to 2 sts before the marker, kfb, k1, slip marker, kfb, kint to 4 sts
before end, kfb, k3.
Row 4: Repeat row

Repeat: rows 3
and 4, for a total of 22 rows
Next row: Repeat
row 3
Texture rows:
Staring on the wrong side, knit across the entire row. Following row, p2, pfb,
purl to 2sts before the marker, pfb,p1, slip marker, pfb, purl to 2sts before
the end, pfb, p3.

and 4, for a total of 16 rows.
Next row: Repeat

Bubble Row (RS):
Count the amount of stitches on the first half of the scarf (do not include
first 2 and the one before the marker) and divide by 4. If you have 60
(60/4=15).Then K2, kfb, *k14, make a bubble, k15, make a bubble, k15, make a
bubble, k13, kfb*, k1, slip marker, kfb, repeat from *to*, k3.

and 4, for a total of 8 rows. }

ReplyDeleteHi There, I am keen to knit this but most knitting patterns show how many stitches you have at the end of the rows (as a check that you havent made a mistake). Have you got an updated pattern with this info?
