Dec mid under sleeve as follows: Beg 3 sts before marker and K 2 tog, K 2 (marker is between these 2 sts), slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso (= 2 sts dec).
----------------------------------------------------------
START:
Cast on 104-108-112-118-122-128 sts on circular needle size 3.5 mm / US 4. Work seed stitch for 5 rows.
Switch to circular
needle size 4.5 mm / US 7 and knit 1 round while inc 20-20-24-22-22-24 sts
evenly = 124-128-136-140-144-152 sts. On next round knit and insert 4 markers
in the piece as follows: work 25-26-28-27-28-30 insert marker (= half of back
piece), work the next 12-12-12-16-16-16
sts, insert next marker (= sleeve), work 50-52-56-54-56-60 sts (= front piece) insert next marker,
work 12-12-12-16-16-16 sts (= sleeve), work the remaining 25-26-28-27-28-30
insert marker (= half of back piece).
RAGLAN SLEEVES INCREASE: Inc 2 sts after/before marker every other round 2-4-5-4-2-1 times in total. Then inc 1 st after/before marker every other round 16-16-17-19-24-27 times in total and 1 st after/before marker every 4th round 2 times in total in all sizes.
After all inc are done there are 272-304-328-356-380-404 sts on needle. Piece measures approx. 22-24-25-27-29-31 cm / 8 3/4"-9½"-9 3/4"-10½"-11½"-12 1/4" from shoulder (19-21-22-23-25-27 cm / 7½"-8 1/4"-8 3/4"-9"-9 3/4"-10½" from cast-on edge).
NOW WORK AS FOLLOWS:
Work the first 40-44-47-52-57-62
sts (Half back piece), slip the next 56-64-70-74-76-78 sts on a stitch holder
(= sleeve), work the next
80-88-94-104-114-124 sts (= front piece), slip the next 56-64-70-74-76-78 sts on a stitch holder (=

PIECE FROM HERE!
= 176-192-208-228-252-276 sts. Work in stockinette st in the round. When piece measures 2 cm / 3/4'' in all sizes, inc in each side - READ INCREASE TIP (= 4 sts inc). Repeat inc every 2½-2½-3-3-3-3½ cm / 7/8"-7/8"-1 1/8"-1 1/8"-1 1/8"-1 1/4'' a total of 7 times in all sizes = 204-220-236-256-280-304 sts. DeleteHow much wool is needed for the L or XL size?
ReplyDeleteThanks
Hi Brenda,
DeleteI am not sure, I used almost 5 skeins of yarn for the small size.
What is the circumference of the neckline?
ReplyDeleteThanks.

Thank you for your lovely pattern. I am having some problems because I am a relatively inexperienced knitter so her we go. I am not finding any finished bust measurements listed for any of the sizes or any amount of yarn required for the different sizes. If you could put those here it would be very helpful to many people. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking patter. How much yarn is needed? Also do you have a size chart showing chest measurements for different sizes. Thank you
