This pattern is very simple and fast to knit, great for a one day project and beginners.
Final Measurements:
5" Width by 35" length
Materials:
-1 Skein of Bulky (#5) yarn
-Needle #15 (10.0mm)
Cast on 17 stitches
Row 1: *Knit 2, purl 1*, repeat from * to * until the end of the row, finish with knit 2.
Row 2: *Purl 2, knit 1*, repeat from * to * until the end of the row, finish with purl 2.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you have a 35" strip.
Cast off
Assemble:
Once you have the strip, find the middle and attache the left end of the strip to the right of the center. Then attache the right end of the strip to the left of the center. Now you will have a back piece and a cross in the front, but it doesn't look like turban yet. That is because you have to saw the sides and the middle, below there is a before and after picture.
